WE LIVE BY THE SPIRIT IN THE KINGDOM

The Holy Spirit is the Father of the church. He is also the Father of the individual members that make up the body of Christ. So, the real father of the one who is awakened to his new birth in Christ is the Holy Spirit. It was by His work in the regeneration that brought the child of God into being (Titus 3:5). Though sons of God by birth, not all are living functionally as sons of God. Our opening scripture shows us what it means to live as a son of God. It is those who are led by the Spirit of God who can be said to be living as God's sons. This simply means that recognizing your oneness with the Spirit through the new birth (1 Corinthians 6:17), you are always in fellowship with Him and He leads you in all your decisions and actions as Lord, to the point where you mature and become His very expression. At this level, every word you speak is the Spirit speaking. This is the real meaning of Christian living.
