The EmancipatorLET'S BEAR GOD
But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faith, gentleness, and self-control. Against such things there is no law
— Galatians 5:22-23
When we pay attention to our divinity in Jesus Christ, we will realize that we are now the source of all the aspects of the virtues of God listed in our verse above. This is exactly what Jesus meant when He said, His water in us will become a well springing up unto eternal life (John 4:13). To bear God means to bring forth the character of the divine nature of love, peace, patience, kindness etc., towards people and into our world. Sharply criticizing and holding in contempt other members of the body of Christ because "their" understanding of divine truth is not as "ours", is not bearing God. As we have learnt, there is no confusion with Yahweh our Father. He gave each one of us by the Holy Spirit according to our level of cooperation, insight into the truth in Christ. Bearing God will enable us to understand each other as one body of Christ and work more effectively with Him to bless and renew the world. For instance, we can understand, appreciate and work in synergy with those to whom the dimensions of the understanding of theosis and sanctification were given; though we now understand the present divinity of the sons of God and vice versa.
I am divine in Jesus Christ. I bring forth my divinity in all my dealings with others and into my world in Jesus' Name.
