The EmancipatorDEATH REIGNED
For if by one man's offence death reigned by one; much more they which receive abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness shall reign in life by one, Jesus Christ

When Adam and Eve from whom came all mankind (Acts 17:26) shifted into the realm of death, death reigned. Meaning that death exercised royal power or influence. Hence without exception, everyone in that era was subject to death. As a tyrant, the enemy figure (the devil) who wielded the force of death, used it to subjugate all men into bondage through the fear of death (Hebrews 2:14-15). No one could live without ultimately dying because death reigned. Isaiah 25:7 says that death became a covering that was cast over all people, and the veil that was spread over all nations. Are you seeing the absolute power of a realm? There was literally no way out. Oh, but thanks be to Jesus, who came to abolish death and ushered in life and immortality (2 Timothy 1:10)
Oh, firmament praise the Lord Jesus. Oh, ye that dwell on earth, the sea and all that dwell therein, praise Him. For He alone was worthy to take away the realm of death. Hallelujah to Jesus forever.
